How to read an Accofluor part number

Example: AF-511-1000-D-5640

  • AF — Accofluor
  • 511 — profile type (here: piston, double acting)
  • 1000 — nominal diameter × 10 (i.e. 100 mm)
  • D — groove dimension code (here: 6.3 × 7.75 with a 5.33 O-ring)
  • 5640 — material code (here: PTFE + 40% bronze, green)

Material codes

Profiles are available across a range of PTFE compounds. Standard hydraulic material is AF-5640 (PTFE + 40% bronze, green, −200 °C to +260 °C). AF-7615 is a newer compound aimed at replacing traditional hydraulic materials with improved environmental impact, and AF-7720 is a high-temperature UHMW-PE retaining the wear resistance of standard UHMW-PE at elevated temperatures.

Full material data sheets are available on request — contact us for the right grade for your application.

Operating range

  • Temperature: −200 °C to +260 °C (material dependent)
