Applications
Accofluor seals are used for hydraulic and pneumatic applications across offshore projects, food manufacturing, medical equipment, industrial machinery and many other sectors. The company has deep knowhow in PTFE and PTFE seal production and delivers both standard and fully customised seals in a wide range of materials.
History
- 1978 — AI Plast is founded
- 1988 — AI Plast is rebranded as Accofluor
- 1991 — B+S Scandinavia is founded by Steen Christensen after parting ways with Busak & Shamban (now Trelleborg)
- 1995 — A stake in B+S Scandinavia is acquired by Sealpool Sweden and renamed Sealpool Denmark
- 2000 — Sealpool Sweden, and shares in Sealpool Denmark, are acquired by SKF
- 2004 — Steen Christensen buys Sealpool Denmark back from SKF; the company is renamed EVCO Nordic
- 2005 — EVCO Nordic acquires production unit Accofluor and converts it into an independent company
- 2007 — Accofluor moves to its current facility in Birkerød, north of Copenhagen
- 2010 — ISO 9001:2000 certified
- 2015 — ISO 9001:2015 certified
- 2018 — New building constructed and another acquired, expanding capacity by 1,000 m²
